What will the course cover?
Produce a series of drawings and simple paintings using at least 3 different media. Recognise the correct tonal values and their relationships in still-life arrangements. Illustrate a clear understanding of proportions in drawings and paintings produced, using measurement as a tool to train the eye. Use horizontals and verticals to estimate angles and negative spaces. Specify the various styles of making images from the work of 3 artists and at least 3 different periods of history.
