Watercolour Painting
What will the course cover?
Basic through to more advanced techniques. Painting from still life, photographs/postcards, landscape, garden etc.
Who is the course for?
Whether you are an accomplished watercolourist or just want to learn how to paint, this leisure-based class will give you the opportunity to develop your skills. Learn in a relaxed, friendly environment with expert tuition. Some materials are provided.
What skills, knowledge or experience do I need to start this course?
None required
What should I be able to do by the end of the course?
Continue to improve your skills and/or join another Adult learning class. Have the confidence to work independently.
How is the course organised?
2hrs per week with the tutor supporting individual learners towards their own goals.

Through self and tutor assessment
What can I expect to go on to after this course?
You will have the opportunity to exhibit in the annual Arts and Crafts Summer exhibition at the MAcbeth Centre.
Are there any other costs and what do I need to bring?
Some painting equipment is provided to get you started but you should expect to buy paints/brushes/paper and frames
What support is available?
Help with literacy and numeracy is available through the basic education programme and the ESOl programme offers help for speakers of other languages. Additional support can be provided for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Details are available from the course guide and from teaching or reception staff.
