What will the course cover?

Studio time is for those who are attending other art classes and would like the opportunity to spend time in a creative environment completing or making additional art and design work. There will be a qualified illustration tutor on hand to support and encourage you although there will be no teaching which is why studio time is less costly than regular classes.

Who is the course for?

Suitable for those attending art classes and would like some time in a supportive environment to complete or make additional table based work.

What skills, knowledge or experience do I need to start this course?

None especially just to be attending an art or craft course with us.

What should I be able to do by the end of the course?

Continue or complete artwork in a studio setting.

How is the course organised?

You will be able to use the art room to make progress with art or design work of your choice.

What extra study or practice is expected outside of the class?


How will my progress be assessed?

One to one verbal feedback and group discussion where appropriate.

What can I expect to go on to after this course?


Are there any other costs and what do I need to bring?

Bring your own artwork and materials to be able to make the best progress.

What support is available?

Help with literacy or numeracy is available through the basic education programme and the ESOL programme offers help for speakers of other languages. Additional support can be provided for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
