his course will give you the ability to create a beautiful floral basket arrangement. Your tutor will demonstrate and guide you through the process of conceiving and creating your arrangement.
The course is for anyone who would like to learn floristry techniques. The results will make a suitable Mother's Day gift.
No previous experience necessary for this course.
Select your own foliage and other components with confidence. Apply Health and Safety principles as related to cut flowers and foliage. Make an attractive bouquet. Apply gift wrapping. Evaluate projects undertaken.
Tutor demonstration. Student practice. Questions and discussions.
Purchasing your own foliage etc. A list will be sent to you following enrolment.
There will be individual feedback from the tutor and between yourself and the tutor and recorded on your one day feedback sheet.
Other non-accredited floristry classes or accredited floristry courses
If you have some floristry tools then bring them along, we do have tools available. Flowers and Foliage, a list will be sent to you following enrolment. Note pad and pen.
Help with literacy or numeracy is available through the basic education programme and the ESOL programme offers help for speakers of other languages. Additional support can be provided for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
