Discover some of the best-known art and architecture in London as well as some secrets hidden away. We will travel back in time to when London was a Roman city and trace the changes through history and the art that was produced, ending in today’s contemporary art and architecture which has shaped our current cityscape.

Participants should be able to have an idea of the timeline from London through history and the people and art/ styles that have shaped the city
This is a five-week course which will work chronologically from history to the modern day.
Optional to keep a journal of thoughts and reflections and finding a work of art or place or artists in London that interests you.
Each week there will be a recap on the previous week and any issues or questions will be shared either with the group or with tutor.
You may want to do longer courses in history, cultural studies, art, writing or teaching.
