In this course we will go on an exciting journey through time tracing back the origin and history of Bier & Wurst from its early beginnings through the centuries. We will discover and analyse their processes, ingredients, cultural roles in German society past and present, learning about various types and regional varieties, A spotlight on the Reinhaltsgebot and recent research about its origins and impact.will provide new insights. We will also look into the current developments of Bier & Wurst in Germany in relation to other countries.
This course is for those who wish to learn more about this famous German staple food, its origins, history and current developments.
This course is a general overview and no previous knowledge, experience or skills are required.
