What will the course cover?

An introduction to Ethiopian culture with a focus on Ethiopian dance where you will learn some of Ethiopia’s traditional dances, including the famous and unmissable Eskista dance loved by so many, including Beyoncé.

Who is the course for?

Anyone with an interest in Ethiopian culture, including those planning to travel to Ethiopia or for people who have heard about this amazing country and simply want to know more.

What skills, knowledge or experience do I need to start this course?

No prior skills, knowledge or experience are needed.

What should I be able to do by the end of the course?

By the end of the course, you will be familiar with Ethiopian culture and some of Ethiopia’s traditional dances.

How is the course organised?

There are three classes about Ethiopia, covering cookery, art and dance. You can choose to take one or all three of them.

What extra study or practice is expected outside of the class?

No extra study or practice outside of the class is expected.
