What will the course cover?

The origin and history of some of the most famous and some of the less well known Spanish dishes covering all regions of Spain.

Who is the course for?

For all those who enjoy eating and trying out new Spanish dishes.

What skills, knowledge or experience do I need to start this course?

Just the curiosity to know about Spanish cuisine, its ingredients, the origin of the dishes, and a desire to taste and cook new dishes.

What should I be able to do by the end of the course?

You should be able to have an insight into the variety of Spanish cuisine , the origins of some Spanish dishes, the cultural dimension of cooking and eating and also be able to cook a simple dish .

How is the course organised?

We will choose a dish per region and explain their origin, ingredients and preparation.

What extra study or practice is expected outside of the class?

None though you will be encouraged to try some of the Spanish recipes at home.

How will my progress be assessed?

By your contribution in class.

What can I expect to go on to after this course?

Are there any other costs and what do I need to bring?

Notebook and a pen ( nearer the time we may ask you to bring some ingredients to cook something for you )
