The one day course is suitable for students who have studied Italian for at least 2 years, or who have done at least 60 hours of Italian studies.
Students who wish to enrol should have a sufficient knowledge of the Italian language, and be able to understand the speaking skill at level B1/B2.
You will be able to discover areas of London which have been influenced by Italy and/or Italians, and gain a better understanding of the migration history of Italian people in the city of London.
The day will start at the Macbeth Centre at 10am, we will either walk to the starting point (see map), or catch a bus together. We will walk until there is a planned break (30 minutes), when we will have a coffee, or a snack, then continue with the scheduled journey.
You will be expected to review handouts given to you on the day, and any notes you might want to take, in preparation for a short assessment task.
There will be a comprehension test between walks, which students will be expected to complete and submit via email, or by hand at reception at the Macbeth Centre.
You will be able to join the other planned walks.
