What will the course cover?

The course is designed to further develop the language skills in Korean based on the Beginners course. The course focuses on developing spoken, listening and reading skills and various grammar points and vocabulary that will form a good grounding. By the end of the course, participants should be able to communicate in daily life situations, to express their wishes, and to describe some events.

Who is the course for?

anyone with some basic Korean who wishes to improve both their spoken and written skills.

What skills, knowledge or experience do I need to start this course?

should have covered the basics in year 1.

What should I be able to do by the end of the course?

be bale to communicate in a variety of situations with Korean speakers.

How is the course organised?

10 lessons of 1.5 hours per term Week 1 Introducing one’s family Week 2-3 Talking about travel experience Week 4-5 Talking about symptoms Giving advice about health Week 5-6 Preparing for getting together Week 6-7 Introducing one’s hometown Week 7-8 Talking about one’s feeling and emotion Week 9 Talking about future dreams Week 10 Revision & End of Term Test
