A little basic knowledge of iPad use is required. Basic computer skills (e.g. turning the computer on; using / browsing the internet etc) are advisable
A more detailed look at iPad functions and apps (applications) and their uses in everyday life.
Beginners who have made a start in using an iPad (or who have attended the previous introductory course) and wish to revise their current knowledge and explore further iPad capabilities and functions.
You should have a greater familiarity and expertise with iPad use in everyday life, as well as identifying apps, uses and functions specific to your own needs.
This course is made up of five sessions, with each session lasting 2 hours. The tutor gives demonstrations and explanations to the entire class, as well as supporting individual learners to complete tasks and exercises. iPads are provided to all learners for use in class during the session
Ideally, learners should make some time to practice the techniques demonstrated.

Continue to improve iPad skills independently, or join a longer, more in-depth iPad course.

Help with literacy and numeracy is available through the basic education programme and the ESOl programme offers help for speakers of other languages. Additional support can be provided for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Details are available from the course guide and from teaching or reception staff.
