Simple map reading, improving walking skills, appreciating the countyside.
Generally a walk in flattish parkland covering 3-4 miles. No stiles or hills. This level is suitable for individuals with some mobility difficulties, those new to walking or walking for rehabilitation.

Meet at the Macbeth Centre where you will be driven in the mini bus to the walk location. The walk leader will guide you. the expectd return time is 15:00.

You will pay a registration fee of either £20.00, borough residents, or £30.00 out-of-borough plus £3.50 each time you come to cover the transport costs. Ensure that you are appropriately dressed with walking boots/shoes. Walking poles should be used as well. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water to drink.
Help with literacy and numeracy is available through tht basic education programme and the ESOL programme offers help fpr speakers of other languages. Additional support can be provided for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Details are available from the ALSS course guide and from teaching or reception staff.
