What will the course cover?

An individualised circuit-based class similar to that experienced at the Charing Cross hospital Pulmonary Rehab classes

Who is the course for?

This class is aimed at people, referred via Charing Cross Hospital or their GP, who have difficulty breathing due to underlying medical conditions.

What skills, knowledge or experience do I need to start this course?

None.

What should I be able to do by the end of the course?

Manage your condition more effectively

How is the course organised?

1 hour per week.

What extra study or practice is expected outside of the class?

Your tutor will discuss home exercise programmes with you.

How will my progress be assessed?

Individualised programmes will be developed and assessed through negotiation with the tutor based on referrals received via charing Cross Hospital or GP's

What can I expect to go on to after this course?

Continue with the class and/or progress to other activities as recommended by your tutor

Are there any other costs and what do I need to bring?

The class is subject to the Agewell enrolment fee structure.

What support is available?

Help with literacy and numeracy is available through the basic education programme and the Esol programme offers help for speakers of other languages.
