More complex dances and steps to build on knowledge gained at the beginners level.
You should have passed the beginners level before joining this class and be reasonably competant with basic steps and instructions. – Do you want to have fun while moving your body? Then this class is good for you! We are going to exercise at the rhythm of music from the 80’es and you will move at your own pace. Exercises and movements can be performed by sitting down, standing up or a mix of both!
You should have a basic knowledge of linedance steps and be able to perform easy dances.
Feel competant with a number of basic steps and more complex sequences that form the basis of moderate dances. Be able to recognise dance step names and perform them.
Warm up, revising and learning dances, cool down and stretch
None required but your progress will be enhanced if you practice at home or attend other classes/dances.
You will be expected to complete a health questionnaire at your first class. your tutor will help you to set individual targets which you wil be able to self assess against. your tutor will also give you verbal and written feedback on your progress.

Help with literacy and numeracy is available through the basic education programme and the Esol programme offers help for speakers of other languages.
