Well done to Graeme Harris, a part-time photography teacher at the Macbeth and Bryony Centres, who along with his colleague John Garrett has just had a book, 'Complete Photography Course', published. Graeme admitted, "When the book was published, I was too scared to look at it, but I'm pleased at how it came out."
The book was Graeme and John's idea, based on their photography classes. The classes were originally attended by men only but Graeme says it's now mainly women. They wanted the book to appeal to both sexes and employed a woman designer and editor to make it less anoraky.
Graeme is a commercial photographer and he supplied most of the photographs in the current H&F adult learning and skills brochure, but that's not all. Graeme added, "I do art photography for IKEA (a line of five rocks) and Habitat and I've even seen my work on Eastenders."
