Interviews for Interpreting students are by appointment only.
Please call 0845 839 7912 to book a time, or alternatively book an interview online.

It may be possible to pay course fees by regular installments throughout your course, instead of paying the full amount at the start. Please ask about installment plans when you enrol.

Further education/qualification classes
Courses with a blue band are accredited and are aimed at those who would like to work towards a nationally recognised qualification. The exam fee is included in the course fee for all qualification courses.

Courses leading to a qualification will require an interview before you can enrol. Book an interview online.

Concessions
If you are entitled to a concessionary fee and join any accredited course, you will receive a £20 discount for every additional accredited course you join.

To help pay for course fees and materials, it may be possible to apply for the Learner Support Fund.

This course offers training in the interpreting and translating skills needed for the DPSI exam (June 2012) run by the IoL Educational Trust. It covers the development of the language of legislation and regulations for equal access to public services irrespective of language and culture. There will be a mixture of lectures on various aspects of the legal system and legal concepts and practical work on interpreting and translation. Each course is open only to speakers of a particular language to maximise use of both the target language and their mother tongue. Students will work on past papers as well handouts specifically prepared by the courses tutors.
