It may be possible to pay course fees by regular installments throughout your course, instead of paying the full amount at the start. Please ask about installment plans when you enrol.

Further education/qualification classes
Courses with a blue band are accredited and are aimed at those who would like to work towards a nationally recognised qualification. The exam fee is included in the course fee for all qualification courses.

Courses leading to a qualification will require an interview before you can enrol.

Concessions
If you are entitled to a concessionary fee and join any accredited course, you will receive a £20 discount for every additional accredited course you join.

To help pay for course fees and materials, it may be possible to apply for the Learner Support Fund.

DPSI (Health)   
This course offers training in the interpreting and translating skills needed for the DPSI exam (June 2011) run by the IoL Educational Trust. It covers the development of the language of legislation and regulations for equal access to public services irrespective of language and culture. There will be a mixture of lectures on various aspects of the legal system and legal concepts for those doing DPSI Law and and practical work on interpreting and translation techniques (especially in term 1). Starting in term 2 there will also be language support sessions into your chosen language every other week on Monday afternoon / evening (Law) and Friday (Health). People whose language(s) we do not cover can apply for this course but, please note, we will not be in a position to offer any extra language support and learners will have to work on their own or with other native speakers of the same language.  More information...
