Saturday Family Learning - Spring 2020

Here at the Macbeth Centre we have developed a fun-packed series of free Saturday family learning classes and workshops starting on Saturday 18 January.

The programme is for all the family, particularly for children from 5-15 years, along with parents, grandparents and other family members too.

Celebrating student success in 2019 and 100 years of adult learning

The annual adult learning and skills 2019 student gala celebration event was held recently at the Macbeth Centre. The event on Wednesday 27 November also marked an extra-special 100-year anniversary of adult learning.

Joining staff and students in the celebrations were our very own Mayor Cllr Darryl Brown, and Harry Sanders from the Mayor of London’s office. Read more


New year, new decade, new you!

What do you want to bring in to the new year with you? It's a brand-new decade too – so any goals and plans are suitably supercharged!

Why not learn a new language, or try out some arts and crafts courses?

If that's not your thing you can brush up on your dance moves, pick up some music skills or perform some acting.

Macbeth Centre interpreting student wins nationally recognised award

An interpreting student on the Diploma in Police Interpreting (DPI) course, Laura Pistininzi, from the adult learning and skills service in Hammersmith & Fulham has won a special national award with the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).

The award marks Laura's achievement as the best DPI candidate in the country with her results of two distinctions and three merits.

We are delighted to announce that in response to requests from learners we now have wi-fi access at Macbeth Centre, Adult Community Learning Centre (ACLC) and Normand Croft.  It's FREE and unlimted for students, please ask your tutor.
